GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay (28-4) will enter the 2015 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament as a No. 9 seed in the Spokane Region and meet No. 8 seeded Princeton (30-0) in the first round in College Park, Md.

The contest will take place at the XFINITY Center on Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m. CST., with the winner facing the winner of No. 1 Maryland and No. 16 New Mexico State on Tuesday, March 23. Sitting at 30-2, Maryland is ranked third nationally and will serve as the host of the games.

Green Bay, which has now won 11 games in a row after capturing its 13th Horizon League Tournament title, will be making its 15th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament and the ninth time under head coach Kevin Borseth. The Phoenix will be making its sixth appearance in the last seven seasons, and has won at least one game in the tournament in three of those five berths.

Princeton, ranked 13th in the country, is the lone unbeaten women’s basketball team in the country after winning the regular season title in the Ivy League. The Tigers are led by Ivy League Coach of the Year Courtney Banghart and senior Blake Dietrick, the unanimous pick as Ivy League Player of the Year. Princeton’s balanced attack features four double-digit scorers, with all four earning All-Ivy League honors.

Green Bay has now made 18-straight postseason appearances, its most recent NCAA Tournament appearance came in 2012-13 when it earned an 11 seed and traveled to LSU. The Phoenix fell in the first round to the Tigers 75-71.
