BROWN DEER, Wis. – Former four-year Phoenix swimming standout Ryan Korslin earned the program's first-ever U.S. Olympic Trial cut with a 1:03.64 in the 100 meter breaststroke on Sunday morning, setting the mark at the Schroeder YMCA in Brown Deer.

Korslin, a 2015 graduate with a degree in Psychology, is the current school record-holder in both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes. The native of Rudolph, Wis., was a two-time Horizon League Champion at Green Bay, while collecting a third-place individual finish in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Horizon League Championship to conclude the 2014-15 season.

Out of the pool, Korslin received Honorable Mention Scholar All-America Honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) last August, in addition to Horizon League Winter Academic All-League Honors for his efforts throughout his final season as a Phoenix.
