INDIANAPOLIS -- Green Bay’s Daniel Pogue and Cleveland State’s Kacey Cummings are the Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Divers of the Week for Nov. 7-13.
Pogue, a senior from Chisholm, Minn., earned diver of the week after winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events in Green Bay’s dual-match victory over South Dakota. Pogue won the 1-meter event with a score of 289.65 and the 3-meter event with a score of 321.10.
Green Bay is back in the poll this weekend when it hosts St. Cloud State and Wisconsin-Whitewater on Friday and Saturday.
Cummings, a senior from Farmington Hills, Mich., won three of four diving events she competed in last week. Cummings won the 3-meter (259.8) and placed second in the 1-meter (229.34) events in Cleveland State’s competition against Youngstown State and Duquesne on Friday. On Saturday, at home against Valparaiso and St. Bonaventure, Cummings swept both events with a 1-meter score of 228.97 and a 3-meter score of 227.85.
Cleveland State is back in action this weekend in the TYR Invitational hosted by Northwestern which runs from Friday to Sunday.
