WILTON, Conn. -- Milwaukee senior Sarah Hagen (Appleton, Wis.) collected Preseason All-America honors from Soccer America, the magazine announced on Tuesday. Hagen was one of 10 forwards chosen on the 25-woman squad and the lone Horizon League player on the roster.

The two-time Horizon League Player of the Year, Hagen already holds League records for goals (67) and points (151) after three years. Hagen has led Milwaukee to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, while the Panthers have earned at least a share of the League regular season title in 11 consecutive years.

Hagen was also named a Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermman Trophy Watch List candidate by the MAC on Monday; in 2010, Hagen was a semifinalist for soccer's version of the Heisman Trophy.

Earlier in the week, Hagen was rated the seventh-best upperclassman in the country by TopDrawerSoccer.com; the 5-11 forward spent part of the summer with the U.S. U23 National Team in La Manga, Spain, for the Four Nations Tournament. Hagen led the U.S. to the tournament win with a 2-0-1 record, tallying goals in all three matches; in an exhbition tour of Sweden, Hagen scored four goals in three matches against Norway and Sweden.

In 2010, Hagen collected numerous accolades after a 19-goal, 44-point season, including National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) First Team All-America, Soccer America's Second Team MVP, TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Season Honorable Metnion, and NSCAA All-Region First Team.
