MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Milwaukee junior Sarah Hagen was named Honorable Mention honors on TopDrawerSoccer.com's National Team of the Season, the online publication announced today.
The publication selected three teams this season and featured a handful of players as honorable mentions. Hagen was named to its Third Team last season and All-Rookie Team as a freshman in 2008.
Hagen capped another memorable season in a Panther uniform. She led the league with 19 goals and 44 points, while breaking school and league records for career goals and points. In leading the league in goals for the third-straight season, the Appleton, Wis., native pushed her career total to 67 goals, breaking Lisa Krzykowski's school and league record of 57.
In the NCAA Tournament First Round last weekend, Hagen broke the league's record of 150 career points with her 150th and 151st. She had surpassed Krzykowski's school mark of 140 points two weeks prior.
Currently, Hagen is tied for second in the nation in goals and third with 0.905 goals per game. She is also fourth in points and points per game (2.10). As a sophomore, she led the country in goals per game
