INDIANAPOLIS -- Milwaukee’s K.J. Heger and Wright State’s Neena Zwier are the Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Divers of the Week for Oct. 24-30.
Heger, a freshman from Rockford, Ill., won three of the four diving events in Milwaukee’s two dual-matches last week. On Friday at Ball State, Heger won the 1-meter event with a score of 274.57 and finished second in the 3-meter event with a score of 238.80. On Saturday at Wright State, Heger won both the 1-meter dive (277.58) and the 3-meter dive (291.15).
Heger and his Milwaukee teammates swim at Wheaton College on Nov. 4 and face Illinois and UIC at Flames Natatorium on Nov. 5.
Zwier, a junior from Grand Rapids, Mich., swept the diving events in Wright State’s dual-match against Milwaukee last week. Zwier won the 1-meter dive with a score of 252.75 and the 3-meter event with a score of 254.93.
Wright State is next in action on Nov. 5 at Oakland.
