INDIANAPOLIS -- Cleveland State’s Justin Hill and Milwaukee’s Sarah Wardecke are the Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Swimmer of the Week for Oct. 10-16.

Hill, a junior from Berea, Ohio, won the men’s swimming honors after placing first in every event he competed in to help the Vikings defeat Niagara in a head-to-head match. Hill won the 50-free in a time of 21.24. He also was part of two winning relay teams. He swam first on the victorious 200-medley relay team and swam third on the 200-free relay team, which also finished first.

Cleveland State returns to action Oct. 22 when it hosts Green Bay.

Wardecke, a senior from Appleton, Wis., took home women’s top honors after helping the Panthers knock off Grand Valley State, 144-99, at the Klotsche Natatorium. Wardecke won the 50-free (24.31) and the 100-free (52.64) and swam the second leg for the victorious 400-free relay team.

Milwaukee is off until Oct. 28 when it travels to Muncie, Ind., to face Ball State.
