Titans Battle Crusaders to 0-0 Draw in Horizon League Opener
The University of Detroit Mercy men's soccer team recorded its first shutout of the 2015 season in its Horizon League opener, playing visiting Valparaiso to a 0-0 draw on Saturday afternoon. Men’s Soccer Draws With Detroit to Open League Play
The Valparaiso University men’s soccer team hit the road to kick off its 2015 Horizon League slate and came out of Detroit with a point, playing the Titans to a 0-0 draw Saturday afternoon.

“All things considered, it was a solid result today against Detroit,” said Crusader head coach Mike Avery. “They are a team that is in good form right now, are coming off a big win in the midweek at Michigan, and are looking to defend the Horizon League regular season title they shared with Oakland a year ago. OAKLAND FALLS TO MILWAUKEE IN DOUBLE OT, 1-0
Raphael Reynolds, Austin Ricci, Matt Rickard and Derek Nowak accounted for nine of Oakland's 14 shots as the Golden Grizzlies dropped a hard fought 1-0 decision to visiting Milwaukee in double overtime on Saturday at the Oakland Soccer Field. The Cleveland State men's soccer team dropped its Horizon League opener on Saturday night, 1-0 in overtime to Wright State.
