DETROIT (10/25/2014) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's soccer team tied a season-high with three goals in earning its fourth-straight shutout Saturday in a 3-0 Senior Day victory over visiting Cleveland State at Titan Field.
Detroit (8-4-3 overall) improved to 5-1 in the Horizon League with the win. The Titans also clinched a spot in the Horizon League Championship and have ensured themselves at least a top-three finish in the regular season standings. UDM is currently in second place, one point behind Oakland (5-0-1). Read more

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men’s soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision at Belmont on Saturday afternoon, falling in double overtime at Rose Park. The Phoenix falls to 4-9-3 and 0-5-1 in conference play this season.
The host Bruins (3-12-0, 1-5-0 HL) scored the game-winner at 106:57, making it consecutive goals scored after Green Bay took a 1-0 lead in the 41st minute. Defrim Ramushevski scored his first goal of the season off an assist from senior Lawrence Talery, before Belmont would respond in the 51st minute to tie the match. Read more

The Valparaiso men’s soccer team drew Milwaukee in a physical double-overtime match Saturday night, 1-1.
The Crusaders got on the scoreboard first thanks to a strike from freshman midfielder Ramone Howell (Portmore, Jamaica/Jamaica College) in the 34th minute. Howell jumped on the ball from 20 yards out and sent to the left of goalkeeper Liam Anderson. Read more

VALPARAISO, Ind. - Senior Laurie Bell scored in the 67th minute to help the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's soccer team claw its way to a 1-1 tie against Valparaiso University Saturday evening at Brown Field.
"I thought it was a huge effort by our guys tonight," Milwaukee head coach Kris Kelderman said. "I thought we played very well in the first half. We carried the brunt of the play in the first half and they only got a couple of looks but, unfortunately, scored on one of them." Read more
Ngatcha Goal Lifts Men's Soccer Past UIC -- Box Score
A second-half goal by Peguy Ngatcha lifted the Wright State men's soccer team to a 2-1 Horizon League win over UIC Saturday night at Alumni Field.
The Raiders were limited to three shots in the first half, but two of those resulted in the first goal of the night as a free kick by Eric Lynch hit the crossbar, only to have it rebound to Jake Stovall, who headed in his fifth goal of the season at the 28:19 mark. Read more
Men's Soccer Comes up Short at Wright State, 2-1 -- Box Score
DAYTON, Ohio - The UIC men's soccer team (6-7-2, 2-3-1 HL) dropped a 2-1 decision Saturday night at Alumni Field to Wright State (10-5-1, 4-3-0 HL). Freshman Sergio Fuentes scored his second goal of the season in the 36th minute for the Flames' 18th goal of the season.
The Raiders held a 16-9 advantage against the Flames in shots and won the shots-on-goal battle by a margin of 6-3. Junior Jorge Alvarez and senior Jesus Torres led UIC with three shots apiece. Read more
