With the basketball season underway, we've seen our number of visitors to HLN increase dramatically...just as it does every year at this time. With more visitors comes more e-mails in our Feedback box, and it becomes clear that many of you have the same questions. With that in mind, there's no better time than now to address some of these FAQs and help you further enjoy your HLN viewing experience. After all, it's only a holiday weekend...no big whoop. Besides, there's nothing else I'd rather be doing than helping our loyal viewers. Just do me a favor and spread these answers like wildfire, OK?

Q: My username and password aren't working, what do I do?
A: Let me first say that we are continually addressing issues regarding activation e-mails that are not being sent once a person signs up for a account, and also some issues with username/password combos. However, there are two major points that need to be made, which should help most of you tremendously.

First, you no longer need a username and password to watch the Horizon League Network...it's merely an option. Creating an account on HLN simply allows you to take advantage of the "My Team" feature and allows you to post on our Message Boards. If you're only on the site to watch live games or on-demand video, read the blog, get your headlines, tweet, etc...none of these things require a username or password.

Second, your username and password from the "old" Horizon League Network will not work on this site. If you want to be able to login, and post on the Message Boards or utilize the "My Team" feature, you have to create a new account.

Q: Why is there no option to watch video in fullscreen mode?
A: Actually, there is. Once your selected video begins playing, simply use your mouse to place the cursor over the middle of the video window. After you do this, a box of three options will pop-up in the center of your video window. The option on the left pauses the video, the option on the right mutes the video, and the option in the center (which looks like four arrows all pointing toward different corners of your screen) is your fullscreen option. Of course, you can always exit fullscreen mode by pressing the "esc" key.

Q: Why aren't the basketball games being archived?
A: Only basketball games between two Horizon League teams will be archived. This is the same practice we utilized last season, and was once again a mutually agreed upon decision between multiple parties. So, to repeat, non-Horizon League basketball games will not be archived. However, basketball games featuring two Horizon League teams will be archived on HLN, and will be viewable for free.

Q: Is it really still free?
A: I visit a lot of Horizon League-related sites, and believe it or not, I still see this question being asked. Yes, HLN is 100% free.

Hopefully those answers well help some of you that have had some frustrations lately. But, since I answered some questions you've had...I want to pose a couple questions of my own, about some of the new features here on HLN.

Have you taken advantage of HLN's Facebook integration? Anytime you're watching a game on one of HLN's 10 team channels, you'll notice a blue Facebook tab on the left-side of the screen, right by the video player. By clicking it, you can log into your Facebook account (if you have one) and chat live with other fans watching the same game here on HLN. Give it a try!

Have you watched Two Sense, The People's Choice, or Horizon Headlines? We're not only showing live events and archiving game-related content...but we're also producing our own! Check out the bottom-right corner of the HLN homepage, and take your pick from the three segments. There's a new episode of Two Sense every Tuesday, a new winner of The People's Choice every Thursday (which YOU can vote for), and Horizon Headlines are updated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Come check 'em out!

There is a lot to discover here on HLN, and we hope you've enjoyed your experience thus far!
