INDIANAPOLIS- Jeffrey Schorsch of Valparaiso has been named Player of the Week and the senior duo of Schorsch and Charlie Emhardt earned doubles Team of the Week for the men. Wright State's Tori Turner and Taylor Culbertson paired up and are the Doubles Team of the Week with Turner taking Player of the Week honors.
SINGLES:
Jeffrey Schorsch / Senior / Valparaiso / Perrysburg, Ohio
Having already clinched the most singles wins in Valparaiso history, Schorsch picked up where he left off defeating reigning MAC Player of the Year, Stjepan Sisko of Toledo in straight sets. After edging Sisko in the first set 7-6 (7-0), the senior prevailed 6-3 in the second set to help Valparaiso sweep Toledo 7-0.
Tori Turner / Senior / Wright State / Hamilton, Ohio
Turner didn't drop a game against IUPUI winning 6-0, 6-0 in No. 6 singles. Versus Dayton, the senior clinched the 4-3 win in a three-set thriller 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 to help the Raiders improve to a 3-2 record on the season.
DOUBLES:

Charlie Emhardt / Senior / Valparaiso / Carmel, Indiana
Schorsch and Emhardt avenged their doubles loss to Toledo last season defeating Stjepan Sisko and Thawin Suksathaporn 6-4 to help the Crusaders sweep the match.

Taylor Culbertson / Sophomore / Springfield, Ohio
Turner and Culbertson went 2-1 over the past week defeating Dayton 6-3 and Notre Dame 7-6 in No. 1 doubles. The pair narrowly lost 7-6 against #7 Ohio State playing as the No. 1.
