The Green Bay defense shined this afternoon at the Kress Events Center, holding Vanderbilt to only three points in the final quarter of play to defeat the Commodores (1-2) 58-56. Green Bay (2-0) trailed by as many as 11 points in the rematch of last year’s overtime thriller, but locked in defensively to erase the deficit and defend the confines of its home court once again.
