INDIANAPOLIS- Oakland senior Hannah Little has been named Horizon League Player of the Week and Cleveland State's Jade Ely has been tabbed as Horizon League Freshman of the Week, respectively.

Hannah Little / Oakland / Senior / Forward / Rochester Hills, Michigan

Little filled up the box score in Oakland’s 79-55 win over Vermont. The senior reached a double-double in the first half with 10 points and 12 rebounds, her fourth double-double on the year. The forward finshed the game one steal shy of a triple-double with 22 points, 17 rebounds, nine steals, and five assists in 36 minutes of play.

Little’s points, rebounds, steals and free throws made (12) were all career-highs. This is the first Player of the Week honor that Little has garnered and the fourth Golden Grizzlies player to receive the honor since joining the Horizon League.

Jade Ely / Cleveland State / Freshman / Guard / Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

In her first game in the starting lineup, Ely tallied her first career double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals in 32 minutes of play. The guard’s point and rebound totals were bests in both categories on the year as Cleveland State chalked up a road win over Bowling Green.

This is the first Freshman of the Week honor Ely has notched on the year.
