MILWAUKEE – Jenny Lindner led all players with 28 points and Sierra Ford-Washington added another 27 as the Milwaukee women's basketball team recorded a big home win, taking down in-state rival Wisconsin, 80-63, Tuesday night from the Klotsche Center.

The win is the first for Milwaukee (3-1) in the series since Dec. 15, 1992, ending a 17-game run by Wisconsin (1-4).

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- Green Bay used an 11-0 run in the fourth quarter to pull away from Belmont and win its third game of the season, 62-53, at the Curb Event Center in Nashville, Tenn., on Tuesday night.

After struggling offensively early on and shooting just 8-of-31 in the first half, the Phoenix was able to return to form in the third quarter and begin to pull away from the Bruins. Green Bay scored 22 points in the third quarter, matching its total from the entire first half, and shot 10-of-16 from the floor to own a 44-40 edge heading into the fourth.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Taylor Jones scored a team-high 23 points while Leah Somerfield recorded her first career double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds as the Oakland women's basketball team dropped a hard fought defensive battle at Central Michigan in double overtime, 70-67 on Tuesday night. Hannah Little grabbed a team-high 14 rebounds with five steals.
