Cleveland State 54, Detroit Mercy 66

DETROIT (1/22/2017) -- Another game at home, another victory for the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team.

The Titans (10-9 overall) improved to 5-0 at home in league play and 6-2 overall in the Horizon League in a 66-54 victory over Cleveland State on Sunday from Calihan Hall. Detroit Mercy has won each conference game on its home court by eight or more points.

Detroit Mercy improved to 3-0 all-time against the Vikings under second-year head coach Bernard Scott, who spent the previous five seasons with Cleveland State prior to being named head coach for the Titans in May 2015.

Youngstown State 54, Oakland 80

ROCHESTER, Mich.- Hannah Little grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds with 19 points for her seventh double-double of the season along with four steals and three blocks while Leah Somerfield posted her second career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds as Oakland snapped a three-game skid in convincing fashion with a 80-54 win over Youngstown State on Sunday afternoon.

Northern Kentucky 58, UIC 37

CHICAGO – Northern Kentucky women's basketball won its second-consecutive road game with a 58-37 defeat of Horizon League foe UIC on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Norse move to 7-13 on the season and 3-5 in League play, while UIC dips to 3-17 (0-9 HL).

Wright State 65, Valparaiso 52

Down 10 after a quarter, the Wright State women's basketball team outscored Valparaiso 59-36 the rest of the way to win its sixth straight game Sunday, a 65-52 Horizon League decision over the Crusaders at the ARC.
