INDIANAPOLIS -- Honoring student-athletes for their success both in competition and in the classroom, the Horizon League announced its 2013 Fall Academic All-League Teams on Monday.

A total of 53 student-athletes from five fall sports were honored in balloting by the League’s faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.

Milwaukee led the League with 10 selections, followed by Valparaiso with eight, UIC with seven and Green Bay with six. Detroit, Oakland and Youngstown State each had five selections while Wright State had four and Cleveland State had three.

The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes with seasonal Academic All-League Teams in each of its 19 championship sports.
