INDIANAPOLIS -- Honoring student-athletes for their success both in competition and in the classroom, the Horizon League announced its 2012 Fall Academic All-League Teams on Monday.
A total of 54 student-athletes from five fall sports were honored in balloting by the League’s faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.
Valparaiso led the League with 10 selections, followed by Loyola with eight and Green Bay and Wright State tied with seven. Cleveland State, Detroit and Milwaukee each had five selections while UIC and Youngstown State both had two.
