INDIANAPOLIS -- Due to the withdrawal of Cleveland State from the Horizon League Men’s Soccer Championship, the conference has announced a revised tournament bracket.
“Obviously, this is an unfortunate situation that has impacted many student-athletes,” said Commissioner Jon LeCrone. “However, under the circumstances, we feel this is the best way to move forward and include as many teams as possible in our championship.”
Two semifinals will now be played on Saturday, Nov. 16, at UIC’s Flames Field. UIC (15-3-0, 7-0-0 Horizon), the No. 1 seed and host, will now play No. 5 Wright State (7-9-2, 3-4-0 Horizon) at 1 p.m. ET. No. 2 Milwaukee (13-2-2, 5-2-0 Horizon) and No. 3 Oakland (7-6-5, 4-2-1 Horizon) will meet at 4 p.m. ET.
The winners will advance to the championship match on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m. ET.
All three matches will be carried live on the Horizon League Network.
