INDIANAPOLIS -- Horizon League Commissioner Jon LeCrone has announced the following changes to titles and responsibilities for League staff.

Stephanie Jarvis,  Associate Commissioner/General Counsel. While continuing to oversee the League’s legal affairs, Jarvis also will serve as the Chief Operating Officer for the Horizon League Network; serve as the staff liaison to the League’s new corporate marketing partner, IMG, and oversee the League’s television agreements.

Wayne Burrow, Assistant Commissioner for Championships and Scheduling. In addition to oversight for scheduling in all sports, Burrow will serve as the primary administrator for League championships in men’s soccer, swimming and diving, outdoor track and field and baseball.

Christine Halstead, Director of Student-Athlete Affairs. Halstead will direct League rules compliance, serve as staff liaison to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and share in championship administration.

Bill Potter, Director of Communications and New Media. Potter will continue to serve as the primary contact with school sports information departments while directing League initiatives in new and social media. In addition, Potter also will serve as the primary administrator for the league’s men’s and women’s tennis championships and the secondary administrator for women’s soccer.

“These changes in titles and additional duties reflect both new directions for the League as well as professional growth opportunities for our staff,” said LeCrone. “Our goal continues to be to provide outstanding service to our 10 member institutions and outstanding championship experiences for our student-athletes.”
