INDIANAPOLIS -- The Horizon League has announced the additions of Tom Crowley and Cam Fuller as full-time staff members. Crowley will serve as the Assistant Commissioner for Basketball and Competition, while Fuller is the Assistant Director of Competition.
“We are excited to add both Tom and Cam to the League office,” Horizon League Commissioner Jon LeCrone said. “In the last year, they have both proven themselves to be capable, forward thinkers who can assist in our staff transition, in the execution of our strategic plan and in the growth of our championships.”
Crowley began working with the Horizon League as an independent contractor in November 2013, overseeing the conference’s operations of men’s basketball. In his new role, Crowley will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of men’s basketball, working with the League’s coaches, administrators and officials.
Additionally, Crowley will provide operational leadership for all Horizon League competition, including championships, in accordance with the conference’s strategic plan. Crowley will also oversee the League’s corporate sponsorship opportunities and relationships.
Prior to joining the Horizon League, Crowley was the athletic director at Niagara University and played basketball at the University of Pennsylvania before embarking on a 35-year career in intercollegiate athletics.
Fuller has been added to the staff after serving as the Championships and Communications intern at the Horizon League over the previous year. In his new role, Fuller will provide support for Horizon League competition and championships, along with assisting in the marketing and branding of all League championships.
Fuller graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in May 2013 with a degree in business administration, concentrating in marketing and management. The Sturgeon Bay, Wis.-native was the runner-up at the 2012 Horizon League golf championship, helping the Phoenix to the same team result.
A member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee while at Green Bay, Fuller was active in community service, including helping with Phoenix FanFest and the Special Olympics basketball tournament.
Crowley and Fuller join Julie Roe Lach, who will start her duties as Deputy Commissioner on Aug. 4, as the newest additions to the Horizon League staff.
