INDIANAPOLIS - Wright State University sophomore Molley Pipkorn has been named the Horizon League Women’s Swimmer of the Week and Cleveland State University sophomore Kacey Cummings earned Women’s Diver of the Week laurels for the period of Oct. 19-25. 

Pipkorn son six individual events in three meets last weekend and contributed to three relay victories, plus a second-place finish. Against University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Pipkorn posted times of 53.14 and 1:53.07 in the 100-yard free and 200 free, respectively. At the University of Illinois at Chicago, the Hartland, Wis., native, claimed victory in the 200 IM (2:09.68) and in the 100 free (51.99). Against Valparaiso University, the sophomore took home gold in the 1,000 free (10:21.90) and 100 butterfly (1:00.44).

Pipkorn is honored with her second career weekly honor with her first coming on Nov 5, 2008.

Cummings swept both diving events in a home dual meet versus Green Bay last weekend. The sophomore posted scores of 247.42 and 236.70 from the one- and three-meter boards, respectively.   

The diver from Farmington Hills, Mich., grabs her first career Horizon League Diver of the Week honor and CSU’s first award this season.
