Ehrhardt was named MVP of the UIC Invitational after leading the Flames to a 3-0 record in their own tourney for the first time since 2007. She had 16 kills in back-to-back matches and served up four service aces in one match. She finished with 36 kills and a .338 attack percentage.

Bauer was named to the Varney's Invitational All-Tournament team after GB went 2-1 at Kansas State. She had 27 digs in three sets vs. California. She was two digs shy of a program-record for most digs in a three-set match as she helped Phoenix to its first win over a Pac-12 team in program history. She also helped GB defeat UNLV for the program’s second ever win over a Mountain West team. She had 71 digs overall in the three matches.

Austin Ricci propelled the Oakland offense this week totaling five points on two goals and one assist. The sophomore midfielder scored two goals against No. 26 Navy with one of those coming in overtime in the 3-2 victory. The Golden Grizzlies snapped Navy’s unbeaten streak of 13 games which was the nation’s longest. On Sunday, Ricci added an assist against No. 17 UMBC while earning Westin/Sheraton BWI Classic All-Tournament Team honors for Oakland.

Leah Holmes came in second overall in her first meet of the 2015 season for the Panthers at the Flyers/Flames Challenge on Saturday. The junior took the top-spot in the 4K race with a time of 14:42.9 while racing 70 other runners. Her finishing time was 70 seconds fasters than her time from the same meet last year.

A.J. Fleak recorded two shutouts against Memphis and Saint Francis University, respectively, on a 2-1 week for the Norse. The senior goalkeeper held his opponents to a .33 goals-against average while tallying 19 saves in 184:36.00 minutes of action. Fleak now has 12 career shutouts for Northern Kentucky.

Jacob Bowman won his first career cross country race last Friday at the Golden Grizzly Open. The junior won the 6K in a time of 17:19:42.7 against 51 fellow competitors. Bowman’s win helped propel Oakland’s men’s team to a first-place team finish out of five squads.

Pyle turned aside all four shots on net in Wright State’s 1-0 win at Dayton. The victory over the Flyers was the first for the Raiders in a Dayton Derby since 1996.
Hometown: Hercules, Calif.
In Milwaukee’s 2-1 win at Northern Illinois, Onwuemeka tallied her first collegiate goal in the 53rd minute to tie the match. In the 80th minute, she contributed an assist on the game-winning goal.
