Heflin threw complete games in both of UIC's victories against Iowa and Indiana State over the weekend. The junior posted an 1.94 ERA in 18.0 innings pitched while holding batters to a .206 BAA. Helfin also fanned 10 batters.
Cleveland State
Erica McNew
Hometown: Canton, Mich.
McNew hit .529 in five games at the Coastal Carolina Classic for Cleveland State. The senior scored one run and drove in three with a .588 slugging percentage and a .579 on-base percentage.
