INDIANAPOLIS – Daulton Varsho of Milwaukee is this week’s Horizon League Batter of the Week after connecting on two home runs and tying for the top spot last week in runs scored and runs batted in. Zane Collins of Wright State is the Pitcher of the Week after earning a win and striking out seven in seven innings of work at Wofford.

BATTER OF THE WEEK | Daulton Varsho, Milwaukee
Varsho led the Panthers to a 2-2 week against Evansville with a strong showing at the plate, batting .412 with a 7-for-17 showing. He scored 4 runs, knocked in 3 and had 2 doubles and 2 home runs. He slugged .882 and added a .500 OBP. In addition, he threw out 2-of-4 would-be base stealers and picked off another.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK | Zane Collins, Wright State
Collins tossed seven scoreless innings and struck out seven for Wright State in a 3-0 win against Wofford. He allowed just three hits in the starting effort. The win was the first of the season for Collins and was the third of a current four-game winning streak for the Raiders.
