Horizon League Cross Country Runners of the Week (October 10)

INDIANAPOLIS – Youngstown State’s Michelle Klim placed second at the Disney World Cross Country Classic last weekend, earning her Horizon League Cross Country Female Runner of the Week. Oakland’s Andrew Bowman took the 4K title and led the Golden Grizzlies to a win in a dual meet with Central Michigan this week. Bowman is the Horizon League Male Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Kilm ran a strong race at the Disney World Cross Country Classic on Saturday placing second out of 227 runners. She posted a time of 18:28.5 on the 5K course. The Penguins finished third in the event out of 23 teams.

Bowman won the 4K title with a time of 11:46.00 to lead Oakland’s men’s team to a win over Central Michigan in the Golden Grizzlies Short Course Dual.
