INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Milwaukee senior thrower Larry Ehrhorn and fellow Panther junior jumper Beth Zimmerman were tabbed Horizon League men's and women's track Athletes of the Week based on their performances this past weekend.
Male Athlete of the Week
Larry Ehrhorn
Milwaukee
Sr., Madison, Wis.
Ehrhorn won a pair of throwing events this past Saturday to help the Panther men win the Division I Invitational in Kenosha, Wis. The UWM senior opened the day with a 56-foot, 4.75-inch toss to claim the weight throw. Ehrhorn then captured his second first-place finish of the day as he recorded a throw of 49-feet, 11.25-inches to win the shot put.
Female Athlete of the Week
Beth Zimmerman
Milwaukee
Jr., Waterford, Wis.
Zimmerman won both the long and triple jump this past Saturday to help the Milwaukee women win the Division I Invitational in Kenosha, Wis. The Wisconsin native began the day with a 18-foot, 3-inch leap to capture the long jump. She then followed that performance with a 38-foot, 0.25-inch mark to claim the triple jump. In addition, Zimmerman finished fourth in the 55-meter dash (7.60).

Andrew Hayner

Sr., Detroit, Mich.
Hayner won the 3,000-meter run while competing at the Eastern Michigan Invitational in Ypsilanti, Mich. The Michigan native claimed the event by running a personal-best time of 8:53.06.
Harold Jones
Youngstown State
Jr., Cincinnati, Ohio
Jones won the 800-meter dash (1:55.10) and ran a personal-best time of 4:26.83 in the mile to finish fourth while competing at the Akron Quad Meet on Friday in Akron, Ohio.
Other Women's Top Performers for the Week
Brittany Horne
Detroit
Jr., Okemos, Mich.
On Saturday at the Eastern Michigan Invitational in Ypsilantia, Mich., Horne finished second in the shot put with a mark of 41 feet, 8.75 inches. Horne's performance was the fifth-best in school history.
Tiffany Brigham
Wright State
So., Springfield, Ohio
Brigham notched a pair of third place finishes in the 60 and 200-meter dash this past week while competing in the Purdue Invitationals in West Lafayette, Ind. on Saturday. In the 60m, the Ohio native clocked a time of 7.94 seconds and finished the day with a 26.41 in the 200m.
Danielle Curry
Youngstown State
Fr., Thornville, Ohio
Curry finished fourth in the shot put with a mark of 44 feet, 2.5 inches, while competing at the Akron Quad Meet in Akron, Ohio. The freshman's toss moved her into second place on YSU's all-time performance list in the shot put. In addition, Curry finished fifth in the weight throw with a personal-best of 49-feet, 3.5 inches.
