Eight Horizon League men's soccer players - including three players from UIC - have been named All-Great Lakes Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). UIC's Jovan Bubonja and Baggio Husidic were each named first team all-region.

In addition to Bubonja and Husidic, the Flames landed defender Robert Younger on the all-region second team.

Husidic was the Horizon League Player of the Year, Bubonja was the Horizon League Goalkeeper of the Year, and Younger was the Defensive Player of the Year.

In addition to the trio of Flames, Butler's Eduardo Garcia and Frank Patano, a pair of first team All-Horizon League honorees, were honored. Garcia was second team All-Great Lakes region and Patano was named to the third team.

Loyola's Eric Gehrig was a second-team honoree while Rambler Keum Sung Kim and Cleveland State's Slavisa Ubiparipovic were each named third team all-region.
