Indianapolis, Ind. -- Six of the Horizon League's eight men's soccer teams can claim a spot on the national statistical charts released by the NCAA on Monday (Oct. 2). The lists include all matches played through Sunday (Oct. 1).

The League features two of the nation's top ten scorers, as University of Wisconsin-Green Bay senior Joshua Okoampa climbed to sixth place with an average of 2.36 points per game (26 points in 11 contests). Wright State University freshman Braden Fleak remains the only rookie among the top 15, ranking ninth with his 2.20 points-per-game pace (22 points in 10 appearances). Harvard University's Andre Akpan is next among freshmen with his 1.80 per-game rate which ranks 19th in the nation.

Okoampa and Fleak also are tied for fifth in Division I, each averaging 1.00 goals per match. Okoampa has hit the net a League-high 11 times to lead the Phoenix to an 8-3-0 record including a pair of League victories. Fleak's Raiders begin the week at 6-4-0 on the season.

Cleveland State University freshman Andrew Gutting holds the No. 19 spot on the national assists chart, averaging 0.56 set-ups per outing (a League-best six helpers in 11 matches). University of Detroit Mercy senior Vahid Assadpour is one spot behind, tied for 20th wth his 0.50 per-game rate (five in ten contests).

Among goalkeepers, University of Illinois at Chicago freshman Jovan Bubonja moved up to third spot with his 0.412 goals-against average. The Flames netminder has allowed only four goals in 873 minutes, helping pace UIC to a 7-0-2 record and a spot in the national top ten before last Thursday's 1-0 loss at the University of Wisconsin. Bubonja also ranks second behind only Colgate University's David Cappuccio (1.000) with a .897 save percentage.

Loyola University Chicago senior Sean Bond also appears on the GAA list at 18th place, lowering his season rate to 0.660 with his sixth shutout of the season versus Wright State on Saturday. Those six whitewashes top the League charts after Bond had only one in his first three years at the school. Wright State junior Tebias Mason ranks 15th with his average of 5.30 saves per game (a loop-high 53 stops in ten appearances).

Those individual achievements also carry over into the team charts, as UW-Green Bay boasts the nation's seventh-highest scoring average at 2.64 goals per match and Wright State is 17th at 2.20. UIC ranks third with a 0.39 goals-against average and 15th with a (7-1-2) .800 winning percentage---11 spots ahead of the Phoenix (8-3-0, .727)---and third with a .905 save percentage.

Winthrop University's Saidi Isaac tops the Division I charts with 30 points in ten matches. Jacksonville University's Tommy Krizanovic took the top spot on the goals chart with 12 in nine contests (1.33 per outing), while Winthrop University's David Kenga is the top set-up artist with 0.90 per match. Colgate's Cappuccio has yet to allow a goal in 520 minutes of action this season with Gardner-Webb College's Tyler Kettering stopping 554 shots in eight outings (6.75 per appearance) to lead that list.

The University of San Diego tops the national scoring charts with a 3.20 goals-per-match rate, while Colgate (0.21 GAA) and Lehigh University (0.39) are the only schools that can claim a better scoring defense than the Flames.
