The Horizon League officially announced its 2010 Softball Championship bracket today. The double-elimination tournament begins on Thursday, May 13 at 10 a.m. ET and concludes on Saturday, May 15 with the title game.  No. 1 seed Cleveland State will host the annual event, as games will be played at Viking Field.

Cleveland State racked up a league record 22 wins (22-2), securing its second regular season championship in three years.  The Vikings receive a first-round bye and await the winner of No. 4 Valparaiso and No. 5 Green Bay in game 3 on Thursday.  CSU captured last year's title with a 4-2 victory over UIC.

Wright State finished second in the regular-season standings for the first time since 2000 and garners the No. 2 seed. The Raiders also receive a first-round bye and will either face No. 3 UIC or No. 5 Butler in game 4 on Thursday.

The Horizon League Network is scheduled to air the championship contest on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET.
