The Horizon League today announced a three-year agreement with Sport Graphics Inc., an Indianapolis-based company, as the exclusive supplier of all signage and graphics work for the League and its championships. The agreement, which was negotiated by IMG College, the League’s multimedia rights partner, will run through July 2014.

Details were not disclosed. Sport Graphics will be known as the League’s “Official Graphics Provider.”

The agreement marks the first under the new partnership between the League and IMG College, which took over the League‘s marketing and sponsorship responsibilities on Aug. 1.

“Sport Graphics is well known for its innovation, creativity and quality of its work,” said Horizon League Commissioner Jon LeCrone. “We look forward to joining Sport Graphics in both displaying and extending the Horizon League brand. We‘re also delighted by the efforts of IMG College in securing the first of what we hope will be many partnerships.”

The Horizon League has used Sport Graphics to provide creative décor signage, banners and printing services on individual projects in the past. The new agreement solidifies the relationship.

With a total fan base of more than 172 million fans, 77 million of which are female fans who influence buying decisions, the college sports market is a an ideal platform for companies like Sport Graphics. The college market’s affluent fan base, with more than 29 million college fans earning more than $100 thousand, and 17 million fans between the ages of 18 – 24, provides a key consumer audience.

Sport Graphics will be able to tap into a share of the college market through this new sponsorship with the Horizon League.
