Softball Player of the Week
ANNA OLLGAARD

Detroit senior Anna Ollgaard is the Horizon League Softball Player of the Week for the period ending March 14.
Ollgaard hit the game-winning grand slam against Fairfield on March 7 in the Rebel Spring Games in Florida and also added a double against the Staggs. On March 11, she drove in the game-winning run against LaSalle. Ollgaard also saw 8.2 innings in the circle for the Titans.
Softball Pitcher of the Week
LISA FERGUSON
Detroit, Senior, P, Clarkston, Mich.
Detroit senior Lisa Ferguson is the Horizon League Softball Pitcher of the Week for the period ending March 14.
Ferguson picked up the Titan's first three wins of the season last week at the Rebel Games in Florida. She was second on the team in innings pitched, while striking out six hitters in her three wins, all out of the bullpen.

Cameron Astiazaran, UIC, Senior, Outfield (Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.)
Astiazaran stayed red-hot at the plate at the 2005 Speedline Invitational, batting .381 with three doubles, two home runs and four RBI. She tallied a hit in five of the Flames' six games and totaled a .810 slugging percentage for the weekend. She opened the tournament by going 3-for-4 with two RBI in UIC's 8-7 loss to BYU. Versus Buffalo in the Flames' lone win over the weekend, Astiazaran had two hits, including a home run to lead off the contest. It was her first home of the season. She added to her home run total versus Tennessee Tech with a solo shot, which proved to be UIC's only hit and run in the game. For the season, Astiazaran is now batting a team-high .447 (34-for-76) with 12 doubles, three triples, two home runs and 14 RBI.
Lindsey Krager, Wright State, Freshman, Outfield (Tampa, Fla.)
Krager was named to the Hilltopper Classic All-Tournament Team after she tripled, scored a run and walked in the first game with Belmont. She walked and had a sacrifice against Illinois State before walking twice versus Western Kentucky. Krager finished up the tournament going three-for-three with a triple, two runs scored and a walk in the finale with Belmont.
