Horizon League Male Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week

Michael Belting

UW-Milwaukee, Senior, Owatonna, Minn.

Michael Belting of UW-Milwaukee has been selected the Horizon League Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for Jan. 4.

Belting led the Panthers to a first-place showing at the Ed Kennedy Relays. He swam with two of UWM's five first-place relays at the six-event meet. Belting was the second leg of the 200 free relay, which posted a time of 1:42.16. He anchored the 400 free relay, which finished in 3:51.23.

Horizon League Female Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week

Lindsay Caldwell

UW-Milwaukee, Sophomore, West Bend, Wis.

Lindsay Caldwell of UW-Milwaukee has been selected the Horizon League Women's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for Jan. 4.

Caldwell competed with a pair of first-place relays to lead the Panthers to a first-place finish at the Ed Kennedy Relays. UWM won five-of-six events, including the 200 medley relay, where Caldwell swam the breaststroke leg to lead the quartet to a time of 2:07.85. She also led off the first-place 400 free relay which finished in 4:16.18.
