INDIANAPOLIS – With eight matches slated for the coming weekend, Horizon League volleyball teams are nearing the start of the conference season.
The Horizon League portion of the schedule officially begins tonight with four matches, all scheduled to start at 8 p.m. EDT. Four matches are also scheduled for Saturday evening with a start time of 5 p.m. EDT.
Heading into conference play, Youngstown State paces the Horizon League with a 10-4 record while both Loyola and Cleveland State are 8-5. Youngstown State will visit Milwaukee (5-8) on Friday night and Green Bay (7-5) on Saturday evening while Cleveland State heads to Green Bay on Friday and Milwaukee on Saturday.
Loyola will host Wright State (2-15) in the Friday night conference opener before welcoming Valparaiso (8-6) on Saturday. Conversely, UIC (6-8) will host Valpo on Friday and Wright State on Saturday.
