INDIANAPOLIS- Oakland setter Jordan Lentz helped the Golden Grizzlies to a 2-0 week, defeating IUPUI and UIC and moving into a tie for first place in the league standings. Lentz is Horizon League Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week. Youngstown State senior libero Lauren Blanco led the league in digs per set this week, earning her Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Lentz averaged 11.00 assists per set in games at IUPUI and UIC, which ranks 32nd nationally. The redshirt senior also averaged 1.83 kills per set hitting .550 as the Golden Grizzlies took down two of the top teams in the league to extend their win streak to six games. Lentz ranks fifth in the league in assists per set and seventh in hitting percentage.

Blanco averaged 6.43 digs per set with 45 in seven sets. The senior libero totaled 27 digs in four sets (6.75/set) against Wright State and 18 digs in three sets (6.00/set) at Milwaukee.
The Texas native is 11 digs away from reaching 900 in her career.
