With only three weeks left in the regular season, Horizon League volleyball teams continue to compete to secure a spot in the six-team tournament. The championship takes place at the site of the No. 1 seed on Nov. 19-21.
On Friday, Cleveland State, which sits third in the league at 8-3 (18-4 overall), will travel to No. 9 Youngstown State (0-11, 2-22) for a 7pm ET game.
Milwaukee (15-8) and Butler (16-7), tied atop the league standings at 10-1, travel to Chicago on Friday to play No. 8 Loyola (2-9, 9-14) and No. 5 UIC (6-6, 11-13), respectively. Green Bay, which enters the weekend at 4-7 (8-17), will look to secure its sixth-place spot with a win at fourth-place Valparaiso (7-4, 20-5). All three matches are slated for 8pm.
On Saturday, Wright State, which enters the weekend at 3-8 (8-16), good for seventh in the standings, travels to UIC, while Green Bay heads to Loyola. Both matches are set for 5pm.
Also on Saturday, Valparaiso hosts Milwaukee in a 7pm ET match.
