Evanston, Ill. - UIC (2-7) downed Northwestern (1-8) at Wells-Ryan Arena on Tuesday afternoon. The Flames used a second-half 15-3 run to erase an eight-point deficit and maintain the lead for the remainder of the contest. UIC held a 44-34 rebounding advantage and placed four player in the double figures. Krystal Hugelier led the way with 16 points and five rebounds while Kelly True and Jacquay Holmes each registered 15 points and six boards. LaShonda Grant followed with 10 points.

Youngstown State 75, Buffalo 43
Youngstown, Ohio - Youngstown State defeated Buffalo at home in the Beeghly Center on Tuesday. The Penguins shot 63 percent in the first period to take a 23 point advantage leading into the break. The Buffalos could get no closer than 10 points for the contest and trailed by as many as 37 in the second stanza. Barb Fabianova led all scorers with 14 points, while Jen Perugini and Cathy Hanek posted 12 points apiece.

Wright State 55, Akron 49
Akron, Ohio - Wright State (5-3) defeated in-state rival Akron (0-9) 55-49 on Tuesday night. The Zips scored the first 7 points of the game until the Raiders used a 14-2 run to take over the lead. WSU was outrebounded 38-32 for the contest but shot 44 percent compared to 32 percent turned in by the opponents. Jeanette Woodberry and Brittney Whiteside led the Raiders with 12 points apiece.

UW-Green Bay 72, UW-Parkside 65
Green Bay, Wis. - UW-Green Bay (7-2) posted a 72-65 victory over UW-Parkside on Tuesday. The Phoenix entered the locker room with a 25 point advantage (37-22) but was outscored 43-35 in the second half. UWGB shot 60 percent while in-state rival UW- Parkside turned in a 48 percent shooting effort. The two teams were knotted at 25 rebounds apiece. Abby Scharlow led Green Bay with 20 points and six rebounds, while Nicole Soulis and Tiffany Mor each followed with 13 points. Amy Feick added 12 points in the victory.
