INDIANAPOLIS –UIC forward Tamae Douglas scored two goals this week extending the Flame’s scoring streak to six games and is named this week’s Offensive Player of the Week. Northern Kentucky goalkeeper Emily Lohmann earns Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week by reaching a career-high 11 saves in the Norse’s 1-1 draw against Milwaukee.

Douglas executed four points on the week after scoring against both Illinois State and Detroit Mercy. Her goal against the Redbirds tied the game before the eventual loss, while her tally versus the Titans served as the game-winner after she knocked in a feed from Olivia Everin in the 12th minute. Both goals helped extend UIC's scoring streak to six games.

Emily Lohmann made a career-high 11 saves in a 1-1 draw at Milwaukee on Saturday evening. Milwaukee had a total of 27 shots in the match. Lohmann has made 51 saves on the year and has a 0.99 goals against average. She has given up just three goals in the past five matches, and the Norse are 4-0-1 in those contests. The Norse remain unbeaten in Horizon League play at 4-0-1.
