INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Horizon League's official online blog, The HoriZONE, makes its official debut today.

The League has implemented a blog page to further enhance awareness of events happening throughout the Horizon League 10 institutions.

The HoriZONE will aim to give fans a behind-the-scenes look on what's happening behind closed doors on Horizon League campus.

Horizon League staff, student-athletes, coaches and administrators will contribute to blogs on a regular basis about a variety of topics ranging from league news to team travel across the country.

To view the League's blog page, visit www.horizonleague.org and click on the "HoriZONE" graphic on the left side of the page. In addition, there are links to the blog page on each main page for each sport.

With that being said, I wanted to take a moment to talk about the League's recent Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) meetings, which occurred in late July at the Westin Hotel in Indianapolis.

The point of the annual SAAC meetings is to get the League's student-athletes together to talk about issues within the collegiate athletics landscape.

The meetings also provide student-athletes with an opportunity to network with other student-athletes from schools across the League.

Student-Athletes also take part in a community service project during the meetings. To find out more about the community service project CLICK HERE.
