INDIANAPOLIS – Opening their season last Friday, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee swept the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Player of the Week awards.  Junior Brady Huemann (Burnsville, Minn.) earned men’s swimmer of the week honors, while freshman Trevor Sisson (Madison, Wis.) took men’s diver of the week.

Competing against Big Ten foe Wisconsin, Huemann won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 59.60.  The junior took fifth in the 200 IM, finishing in 1:59.38 was part of the 200 medley relay team that was out-touched at the wall, falling falling six-tenths of a second.

In his first collegiate meet, Sisson was Milwaukee’s top diver, taking second on the 1-meter board with a score of 244.28.  On the 3-meter board, Sisson posted a mark of 204.08, placing third.

The Panthers will be back in action this weekend, traveling to Grand Valley State on Friday, Oct. 15, before meeting Valparaiso in a Horizon League clash on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 4 p.m. ET.
