Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week
Gabe Wagoner, UW-Milwaukee, Junior, Peshtigo, Wis.
Wagoner led the Panthers to a first place showing at the seven-team Division I Invitational with a pair of event wins. In the 800 meter, Wagoner set a meet and fieldhouse record in topping the field with a time of 1:52.75, a time that also leads the league. The Peshtigo native also anchored the 4x400 meter relay to a meet record and first place. The quartet completed the event in 3:21.33.
Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week
Tenia Fisher, UW-Milwaukee, Junior, Milwaukee, Wis.,
At Milwaukee's season-opener, Fisher led the Panthers to a third-place showing with a win in the 800 meter and by running a leg on the first-place 4x400 meter relay. In the 800 meter, Fisher set a meet and fieldhouse record with her league-best time of 2:14.15. Fisher also came back to run with the first place relay team that also eclipsed the meet record.

Thomas Frazer, Butler, Senior, Belfast, Ireland
Frazer opened the 2005 indoor season by winning the mile run at the Hoosier Classic, hosted by Indiana University. The Butler senior came in first in a time of 4:18.79, narrowly edging out Daniel Walden of the Indiana Invaders (4:18.79).
Tom Grant, Detroit, Junior, Farmington Hills, Mich.
Grant won the 60-meter hurdles (8.76) and the long jump (6.96 meters), was part of the second place 4x400 meter relay team (3:36.81) and was fifth in the 200-meter (23.99) at the Titans dual meet with Ohio University on Jan. 15.
Marcus Lesley, UIC, Junior, Markham, Ill.
Lesley opened with a third-place mark in the 60-meter dash (7.03), and later added a fifth-place mark of 8.36 in the 60-meter hurdles and was a part of the fifth-place, 4x400 relay team (3:35.93) that included Trent Thompson, Justin Malec and Mike Grossman.

Karl placed second in the 800 meter (2:19.69) and the mile (5:07.48) and was part of the fifth place 4x400 meter relay team (4:07.93).
Rowsha LaBranche, UIC, Sophomore, Bolingbrook, Ill.
LaBranche posted three, top-six finishes to lead the women's track and field squad at the Purdue Invitational in the Lambert Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon. LaBranche finished fourth overall in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 26.43 and added a sixth-place mark in the 400-meter dash with a mark of 1:00.66. She was also a part of the fourth-place, 4x400 relay team (4:14.52), along with Tamkika Johnson, Jessica Cwiak, and Idara Essien.
