INDIANAPOLIS -- Cleveland State University senior Jessica Roque has been named Horizon League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the period of Nov. 23-29. The selection marks Roque's first career weekly honor from the League office.

Roque, a guard from Mississauga, Ontario, averaged 19.0 points, 3.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds in two non-conference games last week. She drilled 12-of-20 (.600) from the floor and 10-of-15 (.667) from three-point land.

Roque connected on a career-best seven three-pointers en route to 23 points in Friday's 64-58 win over Iona College. She also registered 15 points in Thursday's 69-66 setback to Big East Conference foe Marquette University.

Roque is averaging 12.6 points and 3.8 assists through five contests this season. She ranks third in the conference with a .520 three-point field-goal percentage and fourth with 2.6 threes made per outing.

Cleveland State, 2-3 overall, finished 1-1 last week at the Caribean Challenge in Cancun, Mexico. The Vikings return to action on Wednesday when they host Marshall University at 7 p.m. ET.
