Kneen earns Horizon League Golfer of the week

Jake Kneen has been named Horizon League Golfer of the week. The announcement was released Wednesday afternoon.

Oakland’s Jake Kneen led the Golden Grizzlies at the Colleton River Collegiate Monday and Tuesday carding a team-best 9-over-par 225 in three rounds. Norton finished tied for 11th out of 72 golfers. In the final round Kneen shot a 2-under par 70, the lowest score of the weekend for the Golden Grizzlies. Kneen recorded five birdies and 1 eagle in the two days.
