Detroit, Mich. - Teri Kromrei was named as UDM's assistant athletic director for business operations in an announcement today by athletic director Keri Gaither.

"With Teri rejoining the Titan Athletics staff, it will position the Department to move forward with our staff enhancement and sports expansion plans. Her experience, work ethic and commitment to excellence is a great fit and I am excited that she wants to be a part of what we plan to accomplish," Gaither said.

Kromrei will start her new position on July 16. She'll also serve as UDM's Senior Woman Administrator.

Kromrei comes to the job after spending one year at the University of Central Florida, where she served as director of ticket operations. Before that, she spent more than two years as ticket manager at Kent State, where she managed the box office for all home athletics events, special events and concerts.

Earlier, Kromrei worked for five years as the Athletic Department office manager and assistant ticket manager at UDM, where she earned a bachelor's degree in history in 1998 and a master's degree in business in 2003.

"I'm excited to be coming back to UDM," Kromrei said. "With all the great things happening in UDM athletics right now, I'm glad to have the opportunity to return to my alma mater."
