Lauren Mauel Helping Lead Green Bay CC Resurgence

Green Bay's Lauren Mauel, who did not compete in high school cross country, is turning heads as the Phoenix prepare for the Horizon League Championship in October. On Sept. 12, Mauel became the first Green Bay runner to earn Cross Country Runner of the Week honors since the 1990s.
