EUGENE, Ore. -- Wright State alumna Cassandra Lloyd reached the semifinals of the women's 100 meter hurdles at the United States Track and Field Olympic Trials on Friday night at Hayward Field. Additionally, Milwaukee assistant coach Garrett Huyler competed in the high jump during the night's events.

Lloyd, the four-time Horizon League champion in the hurdles while at Wright State, ran in the third heat of the evening, finishing seventh in a time of 13.42.

In Thursday's first round, Lloyd qualified for the semifinals, crossing the line in 13.08 and ranking 18th heading into the semifinals.

Huyler, who serves as an assistant coach at Milwaukee after an undergraduate career at Cornell, scratched on his three attempts.
