Loyola Draws Wisconsin In NCAA Volleyball First Round

The Loyola women's volleyball team will open NCAA Tournament play Friday night (Dec. 3) with a first-round match against No. 14 Wisconsin (19-9) at the UW Fieldhouse in Madison, Wis. The Ramblers (22-8), who are making their fourth NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2000, earned the Horizon League's automatic berth by winning the conference tournament last weekend in Youngstown, Ohio.




"Obviously we are very excited to be heading back to the NCAA Tournament," said first-year head coach Tim O'Brien. "It is a great reward for our players who have worked so hard all season to accomplish this goal. We look forward to the challenges that a very good Wisconsin team will present and going out and competing."
