Release  Horizon League · @ ·

Loyola will attempt to turn around its Horizon League season, while Milwaukee is looking to build upon a 12-point win on Thursday night when the teams get together in the Horizon League Game of the Week on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.  The syndicated game is available in all 10 Horizon League television markets along with Kansas City, Mo., and Lincoln, Neb.

Milwaukee (9-9, 4-3 Horizon) evened its overall record with an 87-75 win over UIC on Thursday, drilling 12 three-pointers in the process.  The Panthers have knocked down 48 long balls in their last four games, going 3-1 in that span.  Tony Meier has come on for Milwaukee, leading the way with 22 points last night and giving opponents fits with an inside-outside combo at the forward spot.

After getting out to a 9-2 mark in non-conference play, Loyola (10-8, 1-6 Horizon) has stumbled in its first half of Horizon League play and will look to right the ship at U.S. Cellular Arena on Saturday.  Ben Averkamp has come on in the last six weeks for the Ramblers, scoring 17 points on three occasions, including against then No. 5/5 Kansas State in December.  Thursday night, the sophomore eclipsed his previous career bests, tallying 19 in a three-point loss at Green Bay.
