Loyola softball raises money for Mercy Home for Boys and Girls

CHICAGO - With a weekend free of game competition, the Loyola University Chicago softball team took time to assist individuals in the Chicago area at one of its many community outreach efforts. The Ramblers raised more than $2,000 for the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls Shamrocks for Kids campaign at the St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Chicago on March 17.

Mercy Home For Boys and Girls is a long-term residential home for troubled individuals, ages 11-21. Their 14 homes offer each individual the structure or independence to work through their problems and to achieve success.
