Loyola's Jason Telford (Pontiac, IL) and Youngstown State's Brian Radakovich (Steubenville, OH) have been selected to represent the Horizon League at the 2002 NCAA Foundation Leadership Conference, May 26-30 at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex and Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The men's basketball players are two of 300 student-athletes chosen to attend the conference, whose mission is to provide a diverse group of the nation's top student-athletes an opportunity to actively participate in challenging and thought-provoking activities that will enable them to become better leaders on their campuses and in their communities.

Telford is the second Rambler basketball player in the last three years to be chosen for the conference. Silvije Turkovic attended the 2000 summit.

This season, Telford averaged 3.1 points and 1.9 rebounds per game, helping Loyola to a 17-13 record, its best showing since the 1984-85 campaign. An outstanding student as well, Telford owns a 3.84 grade point average.

Radakovich played in 28 games as a freshman for the Penguins and started 17 games. He averaged 6.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last season for YSU.
