INDIANAPOLIS - Loyola University Chicago sophomore forward Laura Trevillian has been named Horizon League Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the period of Sept. 8-14. It is Trevillian's first career honor from the league office.

Trevillian, a Plainfield, Ill., native, scored two goals in Loyola's two matches, highlighted by her game-winning tally in the 65th minute at No. 18 Kansas Sunday afternoon.

The Rambler sophomore opened the weekend by scoring on a corner kick play in the 31st minute against Northwestern Friday night. The tally was Loyola's only score in a 3-1 setback to the Wildcats.

For the week, she finished with four points, scoring two goals on just two shots. The pair of goals marked her first two career collegiate tallies.

Trevillian and the Ramblers return to action Friday when they host Ball State at 7 p.m. ET. They then travel to Indiana Sunday for a 1 p.m. contest.
